{"id":6737,"date":"2024-03-06T22:32:41","date_gmt":"2024-03-06T22:32:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tup.kxe.temporary.site\/linkedin-restores-service-after-global-outage\/"},"modified":"2024-03-06T22:32:41","modified_gmt":"2024-03-06T22:32:41","slug":"linkedin-restores-service-after-global-outage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/okdesign.ca\/en\/linkedin-restores-service-after-global-outage\/","title":{"rendered":"LinkedIn restores service after global outage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>LinkedIn is back up and running after a global outage prevented users from accessing their accounts.<\/p>\n<p>The technical glitch was impacting users globally, including the U.S. and UK, with more than 48,000 reports of issues via <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/downdetector.com\/status\/linkedin\/\" target=\"_blank\">Downdetector<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/martech.org\/meta-suffers-major-outage-at-facebook-instagram-whatsapp-and-threads\/\" target=\"_blank\">Meta reported an outage<\/a> that impacted its Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp platforms. <\/p>\n<p><!-- \/1038259\/MT_Post-text --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Why we care.<\/strong> If you were running ad campaigns on LinkedIn, expect a significant decrease in reach, engagement, and conversions from when the error began until it was resolved.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Error message. <\/strong>When users tried to access the site, many found they were unable to. Instead, they were greeted with an error message that read:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe seem to have encountered an error.
