In fact, the more you post, the more chances you have to be discovered. While you don\u2019t need to stress yourself unnecessarily, don\u2019t be afraid to post more often \u2014 if you have the capacity.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/trish-riswick-779428108\/\">Hootsuite Social Media Manager Trish Riswick<\/a> says that smaller social media teams shouldn\u2019t be put off by this relatively high posting demand.<strong> Quality should always come before quantity<\/strong>, she says, adding, <em>\u201cIf your social team does not have the ability to post once a day on each network, aim for every other day. Three quality posts are worth more than five low-quality posts.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>If you think that an algorithmically controlled timeline means post-timing doesn\u2019t matter, think again. Or, as much as you can.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While TikTok actually <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/business\/en-US\/blog\/tiktok-creative-ultimate-guide?redirected=1\">recommends posting 1-4 times per day<\/a>, they also say <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/business\/en-US\/blog\/small-business-marketing-tiktok-ultimate-guide?redirected=1\">there is no limit<\/a> to the amount of organic content small businesses can create.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Obviously, that level of constant posting may not be realistic for everyone.<\/strong> If you\u2019re just getting started, 3-5 times per week is a great place to start. Be sure to analyze the performance of each post and refine your posting strategy based on what resonates best with your audience.<\/p>\n<p>As well, timing matters on TikTok. Currently, the average Facebook page post <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.hootsuite.com\/facebook-statistics\/\">engagement rate sits at less than 1%<\/a>. These numbers aren\u2019t expected to perk up anytime soon.<\/p>\n<p>Our experts recommend posting 1-2 times per day on Facebook. Some accounts are posting 50 or 100 times a day. If you\u2019ve got the time, we\u2019re certainly not going to stop you. They also recommend <strong>posting at least once a day, even on weekends. <\/strong>Oh, and they say scheduling your posts with [amazing] partners like Hootsuite is the way to go. Hey, that\u2019s not a promo, it\u2019s literally <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/business.linkedin.com\/content\/dam\/me\/business\/en-us\/amp\/marketing-solutions\/images\/stories\/best-practices\/pdfs\/lms-linkedin-page-posting-best-practices-one-pager.pdf\">in their documentation<\/a>. You can\u2019t argue the facts!<\/p>\n<p>Keep in mind, <strong>LinkedIn content can live in user feeds for a long, long time.<\/strong> This is because when someone engages with your post, it will begin to show up in their connections\u2019 news feeds. Additionally, users can filter the feed by \u201ctop\u201d and \u201crecent\u201d content, which could increase the longevity of your posts if they go viral.<\/p>\n<p>Quality over quantity matters here, so it\u2019s important to craft interesting, engaging content that is timely and relevant. Right now, LinkedIn feed filters are changing and you\u2019ll soon be able to filter your feed for topics like \u201cvideo-specific content.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trish Rishwick also recommends varying your content types when posting on LinkedIn. <em>\u201cI would avoid posting two PDFs [in one day].
