HubSpot has a current market valuation of $32 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Alphabet has met with Morgan Stanley to discuss a possible deal, <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/markets\/deals\/google-parent-alphabet-weighs-offer-hubspot-sources-say-2024-04-04\/\">according to sources<\/a>. No offer has yet been made and there is uncertainty as to whether it will happen.<\/p>\n<p>This comes against a background of Google under pressure from multiple allegations of antitrust practices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why we care.<\/strong> HubSpot, founded in 2006 by Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah, is one of the highest profile vendors in the martech space. This story, of course, may go nowhere.
