    She believes that ChatGPT can be an effective third-party tool to help understand a commenter\u2019s intent, but context is everything: \u201cIt\u2019s important to provide as much context as possible for the most accurate interpretation,\u201d she shares.<\/p>\n

    4 tips for using ChatGPT for social media<\/span><\/h2>\n

    1. Make prompts specific<\/h3>\n

    For the AI to do its best work, specific prompts are required. You\u2019ll need to tell ChatGPT about your brand, your products, the tone you want for the generated text, and any other relevant details.<\/p>\n

    For example, \u201cWrite me a caption for my Instagram photo\u201d isn\u2019t specific enough. However, \u201cWrite me a funny caption for my Instagram photo of my chocolate bagel. It\u2019s for my Toronto-based bakery\u201d is better.<\/p>\n

    \u201cIt\u2019s all about being direct with what you want, and the system will adjust accordingly<\/strong>,\u201d says Schmidt. \u201cEven information you think may be irrelevant\u2014it\u2019s good for the program to know the context, and who the audience is.\u201d<\/p>\n

    2. Be conversational<\/h3>\n

    \u201cWhen talking to ChatGPT, I treat it like a conversation,\u201d says Schmidt. \u201cFor instance, if it rephrases a sentence but sounds too formal, I\u2019ll ask, \u2018Can you make it more casual?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
